Classic Meatloaf

Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 1 lbs ground beef, I like 85% grass-fed for this
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Egg
  • A few cloves of minced garlic
  • 3/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • Splash of milk
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley

Glaze

  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1.5 tsp white vinegar
  • 2.5 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Cook It

  • Preheat oven to 350°f
  • Mix all of the meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl, don’t over mix it. Add more bread crumb if needed, or add more milk if needed. You’ll know when the consistency is right.
  • Add mix to your loaf pan, I have a 9”x5” pan. Bake for 35 minutes
  • In a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients together for the glaze. Pour over the meatloaf when 35 minutes have passed. Put back into oven for 10 minutes.
  • Once done, let rest for 5-10 minutes before cutting/serving
